Cara cara oranges are a special variety of navel oranges that have a rosy pink coloured flesh. They are very low in acid, with a naturally sweet flavor and they truly taste amazing.
Some people feel that they are superior to other navel orange varieties in flavor, and they are often in high demand in produce markets when they are in season.

NOTE:They can also be eaten while still green once the skin goes smooth and they have a lovely tangy but not acidic flavour.This is great for areas where fruit fly attack citrus trees as you can harvest them before they are attacked by the fruit flies and they still taste great and are are lovely pink colour inside.
