- Mangoes can grow in all states of Australia (Excluding Tasmania) but does best in warmer areas.They can grow into a very large tree but are best kept pruned to around 5-6 metres which also makes it easier to pick the fruit with a ladder.They take around 4 years to fruit for the first time which is quicker than a lot of other fruit trees.The mango is also a beautiful looking tree which look great in any landscape.
