The Black Berry Jam Tree (Randia Formosa) is a member of the Gardenia family that produces small yellow fruit around the size of a large olive and looks similar to a loquat or lucs garcinia.Inside the fruit has a texture and taste of Blackberry jam.
When the tree flowers it gets covered in tiny white gardenia flowers which have a beautiful aroma.They can be grown in pots or in the ground.A must have for any gardener who likes flowers and unusual fruit trees and doesn't want to take up too much space.A true all rounder.

The Black Berry Jam tree can be grown is a subtropical tree but can handle cold and hot climates like other members of the Gardenia family.They can also be grown in wet climates and dry climates so they are a great all rounder for any garden.They grow to the size of a small shrub around 1.5 metres high but not very wide and can easily be pruned into any size or shape.They can either be grown in full sun or partial shade.
